Oxdale Products Hydraulic log splitter

Has anyone bought or use any of the Oxdale Products log splitters.

Any good or bad reports of their kit?

Yeah I got the road tow one. Had an engine issue and they sent a new one out ASAP.

We had a tm 400, good machine, we bought straight from manufacturer, good to deal with. Only down side was sitter head was on the small side and liked to get stuck in bigger logs

Good splitter for the price and light enough to move by hand, have to work at big lumps to split them.

I purchased a KTM Machinery 14 Tonne splitter on Tuesday evening I reckon its nearly paid for itself already splitting about 15 Tonnes already! Got stuck once on a very large piece of wet softwood!! Exceelent value for the money.

I used the road tow upright model and I think they have updated them but by the end of two days the mudguards were non existant. I found that the one I had tended to get stuck on anything above about 1ft with a couple of knots in...

I have a 14 tonne tractor mount

Had a problem with ram but they sent me a new one straight out which was good of them

Weve got the ktm tractor mounted splitter which is 10ton ithink.

Very good value for money splitter but only problem has been the shaft with the splitter head on fell out ofthe ram twice but all sorted, easy to take apart and sort.

Been very interested in oxdale splitters as they promote an english built product and there blue ( favourite colour) but in pics they seem abit weak structurally. Hopefully going to the lamma16 show in Peterborough in jan where there exhibiting so will hopefully get hand on with it and you never know, might buy one although weve got 4splitters and 1 firewood processor so dont really need another one haha

Got the road tow version, good engine, but splitting head is weak. Had two bend in the year I've had it..

They did replace both straight away though.
