I bought my first Silky Saw 15 years ago when i asked my local Arb supplier for an alternative to a chainsaw for a tree i had to prune on a Sunday....i silently and effortlessly dismantled it almost to the ground....been a fan ever since...in fact they are my favourite tree related tool...i'm obsessed with them....when the Sawpod was developed,it was the icing on the cake....one of the greatest innovations for the climbing arborist.

Was given my first Silky saw - a gomtaro, when it became standard issue at Midland Tree Surgeons in 1994. Same year we started selling/importing the awesome Sky harness developed by Svensk Tradvard of Sweden. Have never used anything else since.
