Unfortunately my grinder was banished from the kitchen after a regrettable incident involving a frozen turkey, three bottles of red wine, a roll of duct tape, a prostitute, and a couple of police officers.

 

Those Lanskys look slightly complicated?

 

Whetstones or steels are beyond my patience level.

 

 

Don't supposed you videoed the regrettable incident Mark?? Ha ha

I've gone for the Wusthof for ease of use, and bought a steel.

Will probably get the Lansky set at some point, looks more involved and quite a few reviews say you need to buy additional clamps etc.

Balls to you then.

 

Tbh the Lansky looks over engineered for sharpening your onion choppers. I like the idea that it'll work for axes, work knives etc. plus I never liked the pull through ones. They work, but the satisfaction isn't there.
