ive always had stretch airs type "C" but have noticed that they do a pair with the ultra tough knee fabric that covers the whole leg from the knee down, anyone tried a pair? do they last a bit longer as mine always seem to get ragged there from the hanging saw etc??

I use the Gladiator Ventilation Type A's. Excellent trouser, has the rip stop fabric down the front, different to the one you are talking about but similar. The saw still digs in, but the damage is less because of the fabric.

Got some red Pfanner Gladiator Extreme with that on . Fronts type A though .

I personally think they are over priced rubbish! mine lasted less than 12 months! zips on pockets went, then the fly went then the crotch ripped! game over.

Currently got some gladiator vent type a's. Nice cut! Bit worried about the material on the back of the trouser giving up though, time will tell!

Personally would probably not wear any thing else , one of the best features on these trousers is the tick guards as standard on them , until other manufactures start putting them in I won't wear any thing else.. Plus the fact they are the lightest ,most durable, flexible and comfy trousers out there.
