Anybody know of any for sale, prices etc?

 

Just wondering how much I would need to budget for a county wth roofmount and forwarding trailer for a possible upcoming contract.... seems it will cost me alot to pay a local contractor to come in and do the extraction so I'm thinking I might as well buy one for myself..

 

 

Any thoughts?

loads and loads mate im hunting for one got 9 grand to spend and there so hard to come by ,there is a dog on ebay for 4500 at the moment . Best of luck tho,dorset steam fair is a real eye opener tho to the county world.

There is one up here which is rough as buggery and the guy wants 15k for it!!!! unreal....

 

Was even thinking valmet but probably couldnt afford one - should have bargained hard with SWB before he sold his!!

speak to jsp forestry,a tidy valtra will only cost you 15 k,but unlike a county it will de value

i looked at these two on ebay a week or so ago and they didnt get any bids, so didnt sell on ebay, give the guys a shout and see if there still avalible:

yeah i saw that, doesnt look too bad seen worse, crane looks to be in good condition, but you wont get much grip with those tyres

In average condition i think you will be looking at 11k plus with the roofmount it depends on the county model.Some are highly collectable.

That Volvo has been listen on eBay at least 6 times that I can recall now - always at a 5k asking too... wonder whats wrong with it??

 

I bet it will take a fair bit of cash to bring it back up to standard... might be working but all the pipes will need replaced etc.

have you seen the tyres ??? theres a few k in new ones on the price alone....i once worked on a site coppicing and the crew who where felling the larger hard woods used one of the volvos for extraction it could of evan been that machine....the driver said they where junk and he hated it though???
