HI Guys

Please keep an eye out, truck got broken into on saturday while one of my guys nipped in to a shop (locked the truck) window smashed and climbing kits, rigging kit, 201t ms 261, 362, 441 and 660 and leaf blower was taken.

climbing kit included a tree hog harness, dragonfly harness and ropes, climbing spikes, flip line carabinas etc

rigging kit was in a red rope bag and included a block and capstain.

all we have left to carry out tree work is a pair of stihl gloves :sneaky2:

Also some was second hand stuff, can i claim this back still with no reference no. or receipts?

That's shocking, they must of been following you!

As far as claiming for old stuff with no receipts, I doubt it! I wouldn't pay you for something with no proof of purchase so I can't see an insurance company doing it.

Hi STEPHEN your right it is Bad mate but there's people out there driving around targeting people like us with saws I was told by a top tree surgeon on here if anyone followed you back to your yard just do the loop do don't go into your yard thanks Jon

You shouldn't need receipts, just imagine if it was a house that had been 'turned-over', how many of us keep receipts looong term?, not many I'd guess. Yet we'd still get paid out for them.

If you have any pictures of the stolen items this will help your claim.

Could you get the people you bought the secondhand items off to write you a letter saying so? The more evidence you can collect to prove you had what you say you had the easier it will be.

Good luck.
