Hi Andy

Share your problems here https://www.facebook.com/groups/322999041413588/

Also if you have a good picture for the header that might be appropriate please add it. Thanks Beau

Good shout on putting together the FB group.

As has been said, might be worth making it public and working out when to start tagging in Isuzu Uk and the local dealers we all have had face to face dealings with...perhaps even Watchdog or similar?

The more I read I can't help but think this is all a bad joke from Isuzu and that DMax stands for Dilution Max and the jokes on us!!!

Today's dipstick check made for depressing viewing...

No Worries - some people talk louder then others on here :001_smile:

My research on Subaru diesels indicated that Subaru work to a 10% oil dilution ratio. At this point if active regens are still occurring and this percentage has been reached the DPF light comes on, limp mode and a mandatory trip to the dealers... The ratio is based on counting the number of active regens so by implication they know exactly how much oil slips past the rings on each regen event.

Thing is some owners don't get any problems so guess it's not quite the same on the Dmax?

Mines been good on oil/ regent issues. Iv had problems with knackered shocks and springs at 60k, leaking rear diff seal and gearbox seal has now developed a leak at 80k. Isuzu didn't want to know, warranty doesn't stand. Local dealer can't supply filters there and then, 250 miles of a tank of fuel is appalling, too high geared and will want a clutch soon. Eats brakes, in 80k it's had 5 sets of pads, set of drums and discs. Granted it's worked hard but it's advertised as a work motor.
