Good choice and as just been said lose the bar it's total and utter s***. Ring rob d at chainsaw bars and get a sugi lite bar . Then you got a really good saw

Correct my first 540 started throwing chains on its second day at work! Try the stihl full chisel on it, the Oregon one is too 'snatchy'

Put a 13 inch sugi on the 550 it's a blast with it and you'll have a big guaranteed
