I use the Stanley Bostitch framing nailer and finish nailer compressed air models, lots of power, never goes wrong just keep it oiled, nails are super cheap. And yes the big downside the lugging a compressor about, not possible on some jobs mabe but ive got long hoses so the compressor can say on the truck etc... These nail guns are very cheap to buy compaired to the gas ones, my brand new bostitch framing nailer was £215! What a bit of kit too!

Paslode for me, never had a problem with it, fixings aren't cheap but just price them in the job :thumbup1:

I often use the cheaper nail and gas packs, not had any issues.

I was using the cheaper gas packs and had problems, repairers said the cheaper gas didnt have enough lubricant properties, gone back to Paslode gas and have had no issues!

Paslode 350, now 8 yrs old, says something!

Can't really argue with that, unless it was paslode who done your repairs.

Bought mine 8 yrs ago and it was secondhand then so not sure how old it is, never been in for repair.

Probably just given it the kiss of death now:-(
