A wee bit chilly!!

I've done a lot of mountaineering in cold places. Never had hypothermia, but have had frost nip in fingers and lost all the skin a few days later. Luckily not any actual tissue.

Brilliant blankets if they're the ones with the thermal type lining in them. Great to hear you have your trauma first aid kit too, fantastic piece of mind for you and your team! :0)

Tin foily reflective thermal try things issued out for sub zero exercises so should be good but hopefully never needed like all these things.

Some great advice Miss Fox! I enjoy a bowl of Scots porridge oats on cold mornings...sets my core at optimum temperature....

the heating would be very low if it weren't for the fact i live with my mum who feels the cold at 20 degrees...

 

anyway, she pays the bill.

Anyway it got me thinking about the onset of the harsh weather arriving and the affects of Hypothermia.

depression over money problems could be another killer, if the heating bills are a problem, put on another jumper and turn the heating down a bit, although many on here will have stoves and wood from work
