Part of what makes a good team is having a poor performance but still getting the win . When the kiwis had their unbeatable run they still had a few off days but closed out a win. Hopefully that's the kick up the bottom England needed without actually conceding a victory

What a tough match . I thought Wales were outstanding . Well done England for finding a way to win against a good side on their ground .

Talk (typing) is cheap Stubby, I'm a cuddle puss in real life! 🐻

 

Although there was that one occasion when I upended a Frenchman down the stairs in the Covent Garden Walkabout.

 

It was an England / All Blacks game, not going well, Kiwi girlfriend of the time was taking the pi55, Frenchman standing in front of me made a point of jeering every time the Kiwis scored (that's a LOT of jeering!)

 

I invited him to focus more on the game & a little less on me....

 

He didn't.....

 

Belt and collar firmly grasped and Frenchman took the short route to the downstairs bar....
