My plan for this year is to process into vented 1.4 cu metre bags season in the field. The bags have a tipping loop on the bottom about 4 weeks before delivery I hope to tip them into our bunded poly tunnel. The reason it is bunded so we can load 2 cu metres in 4 minutes with a bobcat. The reason for all this is I worked out years ago if you handle the wood more than once all the profit goes out the window.

I tend to season mine loose in lorry containers then fill dumpy bags and stack them on top of one another. As long as they're stacked so that they interlock they seem to work quite well.

Could try these as well?

IBC 1000 litre diesel water butt storage tank on pallet on eBay (end time 01-Jan-11 23:12:20 GMT)

just take the liner out of them and line with galv mesh.

I use IBC containers if you get the right sort you dont even need galvanised mesh. I pay £20 + vat not extortionate ebay prices. Normally stack 2 high full and 4 high empty.
