Piranha Chainsaw Chain - Press Release

Noticed the same thing on my 550 felt like the file was blunt.

Tried one on my 365 as well but didn't get on with it, cut pretty slowly, but then the saw is a bit tired so eBayed it and bought a ms461 instead 👍🏻, that saw will be staying on stihl chains only!

That's exactly what I thought.... the file was hardly touching it and then I gave it some extra pressure and it felt like it was barely scratching the surface /rather than removing metal.

I also forgot to mention that the bar has also shown signs of generating excessive heat (coloured the metal on the edge of the bar). Before fitting the chain the bar was well dressed & oiling as it should.

cheers, steve

Are they the same fitting as the 550 as those are listed? I've had them for the husky 365 as well which is listed

I've no idea to be honest I just got it free though Facebook. But for the price I will buy more as they seem okay

Its odd how different people have different experiences. I find that larger saw chains vibrate less than the top handle chains.

I think that with these chains it may be down to the chains themselves being inconsistent.

I'm thinking of doing a chains style test soon so could include a couple of these Piranha chains in that!
