How to get off Greenmech bearings😡😡

On the Quad'chop' we cut into the bearing taking care not to touch the axle the use a hammer and chisel to break the housing and bearing race.

As recommended by Mac and Jason at G.M.

Hi have they said wat to us and how Tobin stall new ones thanks for all your help have tried to call mac at greenmech but they left on Friday and not back till tomorrow hopefully looking to fit new one today

Burning an arc rod on the inner would give faster, more localized heat and more folks would have access to an arc welder than a smoke wrench?

Just wondering if this part of the bearing you are talking about? Does it need to come off  completely to put on new bearing? Also any idea what the part no is? It is the front flange bearing on the flywheel.

Yes that needs removing, just cut 90% through it with a thin grinder disc or dremel and then split with a chisel, once cracked it will come off easily. Its the inner part of the bearing.

Regarding the part number for the bearing , what model of chipper is it..?

I'm guessing it's an EC150/25D, Lister engine looking at the spacer tack welded to the shaft..?

If I'm right then you'll need an SF40DEC bearing , make sure it's an 'eccentric locking collar type bearing..

Yes Jase, 

Model is correct. It looks like a mad bearing, that's why I was so confused!
