I am not keen on them. Once you have fitted them wrong the first time they are damaged and then difficult to use after that. My current 260 feels wrong when you turn it but you just have to turn it a bit further.

Got it :thumbup: I walked away from it had a snout used some bad language and put it in and turned it like a man... It worked 👍😜

Maybe the thread in the fuel tank is the issue.

Personally ive never had any issues with the stihl caps on any of my machinery.

 

I did think that but it fine now, need a drink :001_rolleyes:

Hi mate what saw is it. i got a ms 391 its got the same caps i havnt had a problem yet with them

 

Welcome :thumbup: it's a ms240 had a few stihls machines with these caps and this is the first bother I've ever had with them
