Does anybody sharpen their own chipper blades? i can get them sharpened not too far away for a couple of quid per blade, but finding the time to take them and wait is near impossible! what sort of machine would be needed to keep them sharp :confused1:

Oh it is cheap "compared to some online firms" :sneaky2: but im loosing half a day by the time i get em off the machine take them, wait so on. Just don't have the time

What chipper? Some need hollow grinding to get the best from the chipper and be best for the bearings. It will tell you in the owners manual what is best for the machine.

Spectrum plant a good for Timberwolf. Another thing to consider is having a spare set to put in while you get the others ground. It's all a business expense so goes against your tax. Why scrimp on an expensive bit of kit??
