On the 2nd full week of work now with the new chipper.......feedback from the lads using it is all good, devours brush, chips all the way to the front of the truck bed (no shovelling) works fast, efficiently, seems to be easy on fuel consumption. Smiling faces all around still.

Funny this thread, reading from start to finish to see the mood suddenly change..

These chippers have gone from something the magic fairy gave you in one breath, cuts this that and anything in between.. built like a tank, mows the competition down...

Can't fault it, everybody get one....

Then like kryptonite to superman, oil filters are mentioned.

Be careful, be sure to do it right, measure the timing like your life depends on it, 21, no twenty.. twenty hours exactly do it at twenty and you'll live another day...

Funny stuff :)

Your absolute correct, won't matter what machine you have, how well it's built, what it cost what the dealer back up is..... If you don't service it properly and when it's due it won't last as long as it should and that go's for everything! They have maintenance scheduled for a reason and the cost of a filter compared to a 20k+ machine is nowt.
