So, I know it's been covered a few times, I'm looking to replace our old chipper and I really like the look of Forst and the cut of Redwood's jib.

Any feedback on pro's / con's would be greatly received.

Out of interest guess what the other machine I've looked at is????????

Yep.......Jensen

I also have a tracked jensen ant that is a great machine,be a hard call between the two but I reckon the jensen will be dearer due to the exchange rate, certainly my local jenny dealer is about 2k more than a forst!

St8 for me, fantastic machine and knocked the socks of the class competition we had on demo, Jenson 540 is probably on par with a few different features but it really comes down to what deal you can get and who you want to deal with.

I personally liked the fact I was dealing directly with the manufacturer so in theory parts and problems should be sorted faster.

Tr6 for us...had a problem with the computer on it but Redwood sorted it asap. My only niggle is the blades are a pita to change compared to TW.

Really? I find them dead easy to do, You want to try changing quadchip blades then you will know what fiddly is!
