I am at the stage of sniffing out quotes for PL insurance .

There seems not many company's that will cover chainsaw use . I know NFU do but they can be pricey. I have been on the comparison websites and still wading through .

What insurance company's do you use ?

How much do you pay for sole trader no other employees, use of a chainsaw on the ground and tool cover per year ?

found one company MMA that cover gardening and use of a saw but with a 5m hight restriction also included tool cover of 2.500 for 425 per year .

Any suggestions please

thanks Eastwater:001_smile:

Give Cameron Yeo a call at Trust Insurance. 01604 492644

Dont bother with searching through quotes and comparrison sites, it's a very specialised insurance for the arb industry. Call Cameron, he'll keep you right.

Just had a quote from Arbinsure (just up on the right !) for similar set up,although without tool cover, total was just over £500 - but this included employee cover, without this it was nearly half the cost.

Low price seemed to hinge on low turnover, which is not a problem for me!
