What are you after Jon?

Bit of walking, bit of sight-seeing, good pub grub?

Generally the further up you go the less populated it is.

It's a big county.

There's chalets near keilder Jon also ... Midges have gone now as well :) . Shame the pub near marks folks shut that's very quiet ... When the guns have stopped firing any way, we were working up on the army ranges last week which are massive and in some very wild places totally untouched ,me and Rachel were saying it would be great to have a farm out there.

There's no wi-fi in Northumberland. That's why Bolam moved to Kent. Oh and the local pub closed.

Hahahaha!

Hopefully it will reopen one day.

The Rede Valley is a bit short of pubs at the minute, but the Redesdale Arms (The First and Last) can still be good on the right night.

The Holly Bush at Greenhaugh is also worth a look sometimes.

I can't really help with digs John, I just stay in my old bedroom!
