I was struggling with visualising it.

 

I'd forgotten about looking it up.

Yeah....but the tecnique is 400 hundred years old!!!! Did u expect a lockjack? And heat resistant hightec ropes?

Thought it was a really cool thing to see, i spoke to him later that night after his demo, and its no wind up. A truly great bloke.

 

it goes to show how little climbing gear you really need just a bit of manilla rope and a couple of sticks. cant wait to use it at work to see how well it works.

Impressive stuff, i was also told that decompresors on saws were originaly designed for the japenese market, not sure how true this is.
