The bit that always makes me laugh is in the Highway Code.

 

If you are on their side of the road, passing a parked object it is your responsibility to give way to them.

 

Basically if he insists you should reverse up because they are in the eyes of the law right.

 

Now think of that as stupid. Regularly there is a shop on my way to work which has 5-6 cars parked outside on my side. Normally 4 cars get through at once and you'll be surprised how many cars just keep coming, go on he pavement and seemingly most have wrist ache....

 

Too many people rushing around, thinking that their thing is so important no seconds can be wasted.

Hi all on way back bath tonight on the opposite side to me on the right hand side there was an Argos Lorry just outside small village lane so the lorry was on my right not on my side road and in front lorry there was parked cars small road right here goes a white van man come the road I was half way past the lorry and the chap in van was going mad he moved up to my bumper ok to Sonia we have one here so turn the engine off and sat there and he was moaning I said I'm not going back you got a give way to me so we sat there for 3 minutes then in end he moved back he was going mad I could stay there all night it was my right way not his what do you all think thanks Jon 👍👍👍

- give way to oncoming vehicles before passing parked vehicles or other obstructions on your side of the road.
