up here costing runs at £250 a day, minimun charge 4 hours, £1 mile over 20mile radius of base, and any chains or bands damaged by inclusions in the timber, charged at cost. everybody seems happy at this, I normally work a discount if Im going to be on the site for over 5 days

Yes you can get a woodmizer but for this job it is chainsaw mill only.

 

 

You can actually charge more chainsaw milling a day than you can a woodmizer!

I guess it depends on the value of the timber in hand but i would of thought most back garden type trees would not justify spending £300 to get them milled.

 

How much work do people charging £300 a day get?
