Wheres the difference between a AAAC company using ro-ro skips to crane a tree, and chip into, and me using a skip to put green waste in, chipped or otherwise? Its a service thats there when required.

I think the problem is people can't comprehend there are many ways to do things and being in a free market society allows us to seek out and use any service out there.

 

To all you that have a problem with a skip can you explain what is your problem?????

Majority of my work is for people that have acres of land so there is absolutley no need to remove waste as I said at the beginning, I also promote to them to keep their waste as yes surprise surprise they have large gardens, paths, and fireplaces etc to get rid of arisings.

 

I am quite happy using skips and roro's and will continue to do so, less work and away next day, just works out more costly for the client not me.

As I like their service to, I had the need for a skip 7 times in the last year so I don't lose sleep on loss of sale of chip etc. after all renting a yard for this little use would make me a loss, I think, so my point from the start is the same............

What sale-able product is that then?

 

If its wood chip then its waste, people want it for next to nowt, for the money you sell it for it aint worh the hassle, i get loades of calls for chip for peoples gardens, when i say 30 quid a tipper load delivered 5 miles away they dont want it as they get smaller quantities at b&q. and it aint worth messing about with smaller quantities or less money. As for bio fuel that aint worth the hassle either IMO, 6 quid a ton with all the stipulations that they impose aint worth it. i give it away to the local horse sanctuary.
