The Lidl Florabest grass strimmer....

yes got the bar to hold it but you still have to unscrew the bottom bit

 

Oh that bit. The Florabest has a hole in the strimmer head for putting an Allen key in.... that stops the head from spinning so the nut can be undone. Is that what you mean?

No need to sharpen pointed bits facing the ground and bring blade down onto material you will be surprised how quickly you will demolish a bramble patch and not much left to clear up

 

So true. Start at the top and work down. Also works a treat on bamboo.

Just bought the Portek Powerstrim 6 Universal Head for my stihl fc55 strimmer but it does not come with the nut to connect it to the shaft :(

 

Can anyone tell me where I can get one please.

TBH don't think a fs 55 is big enough to run one of those heads. Portek say they are for 36cc and above.

I have a FS280 as well, so if it does not run properly on the 55 will give it a go on the other. just need to know where I get that nut from.
