I wouldn't like to say, but I would think something around the size I have on the trailer, which is meant for a 3500kg base vehicle.

I had wondered about this and did a bit of research a while back. From what I found the Hiab 055 range was pretty good. 7-11 metres depending on unit, weights in 700-900kg plus stabilisers. At 7 metres it lifts around 600kg.

 

My thought was if you combined this with a defender 110 or perhaps the new ranger in single cab (pulls 3500kg) with a stripped down body. Run the crane off a petrol unit in the back. You would have a very versatile bit of kit.

 

That's as far as I got though!
