Has anyone converted a Nissan cabstar flatbed to a tipper or know of anyone that has? I'm having trouble finding a quality tipper with reasonable miles so looking into converting a flat because more are available to choose from. I'm pretty capable at doing the conversion but wondered if anyone has done it on here? Any tips and ideas and also things not to do?

I'd forget about converting the drop side to a tipper it will be loads of agg and by the time you mount it to a tipper frame it will sit really high,

Look for a 2nd hand tipper body on the bay and make it fit your truck you might need to trim it down a bit but if your up a bit of DIY you'll save your self a few quid

If converted a few trucks now and find it pretty straight forward and enjoyable

Good luck on your build
