Have looked at this a couple of times on the bay... bit small for us unfortunatley, if it would take out 5t it would have been perfect

You need a little Norcar 490 or Logset 500. Perfect little forwarders, will handle about 5 - 6 tonnes.

I think they had that Norcar at the APF, fantastic little thing !

That's Scottish Native Woodlands' machine, a couple of months ago they were talking about hiring it out, presumably their plans have changed. I think they were getting an Alstor 8x8 too, possibly they can't justify running both. How does the Vimek keep the front 4 wheels on the ground, does the back axle oscillate?

Surely hes not loaded them bits in the picture with that crane? There tiny, would have been far quicker throwing them on by hand

That would be perfect for this weeks job......big garden, all chip to be removed from site, and lots of long conny and few branches to drag up a 100m slope in outback heat:tongue_smilie: I could've grabbed loads at a time and done it all in a couple of trips today. I got a cheap labourer instead haha.
