Faster better cutting chain

Hi guys not to up to date on this but does anyone no if there is good chain for ms200t and logging saws that cut faster than the normal chain iv heard about full skip and stuff but would like to see if anyone has tried please help is needed

What chain (exactly) are you using at the present time?

The standard 3/8 low pro chain that comes on an MS200t is a " safe " chain . Stihl do make a full chisel for it which is more aggressive . As for logging saws full or semi chisel is a personal thing . If the wood is clean then I prefer full chiz . Semi skip and full skip are for longer bars . They help stop the tendency for the chain to " bog " when buried the full length of the bar . Semi skip and full skip can be bought in both full and semi chisel .

They do make a full chisel got one on mine. Even put one on the 181. Loads quicker

Had one one my MS200t until I sold it and found it to be perfectly fine . It cut a bit faster and I don't remember it being any more expensive .

Just get you a loop of PS or even PS3. If you do lot of bore cutting get PS. Best picco chain out there IMO. 3/8LP fastest stock chain too. http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/chain/picco-38lp-round-chisel-cutter-chain/

How fast and aggressive do you want, full chisel chain is the most aggressive you can get stock, but a bit of filing here and there will make it faster and more aggressive, especially if you follow the Oregon racing specs. Picco super for your 200t, and Oregon LPX for a ground saw.
