i'd get a demo of the new timberwolf 230 before ruling it out, I assume based on the 150

My qc was a good little machine but I wouldn't have another, a few bits fell off through vibration and it was a nightmare to service even changing g the oil is a pig. If I was stopping at 750kg it would be a tw230 over 750 forst st8.

that's been my problem, finding something to complete with the quadchip but bigger and not costing 30 odd grand + vat.

It's the lowest hp 8"machine going at 37hp, spoke to a lad who had a inline and loved it and then got 1 on a tt and recond it wasn't a patch on the original as it looses power through the belt set up.

A Jensen A540 or a Greenmech.

 

I had a Safetrak 1928 on hire recently and was very very impressed with the design and build quality.

I really got the impression that it's been designed by operators not guys in an office. (Apart from the levers to operate the tracks. These are 2" too long!)
