There is an old man who lives near me who makes hazel chairs and sofas he is going to teach me how to set one out and how to bend the rods. 2 inch hazel linen line props 3 and 4 inch posts or good firewood.

The hazel chairs are fantastic and very comfortable also go for alot of money, i was thinking of going on a few weaving and Chair making courses like that.

Another market for you is thatchers, they use the hazel to peg the reeds in place, also like others have said the hedgelaying market will buy green as the binders are nice and supple to weave.

£1:50/£2 a pole is a great price some independent garden centres will buy them in at 80p and then retail them at the £2 mark.
