Disco 3 or RR tdv8?

Just been driving this one round Africa for 2 weeks, its done about 365,000km (about 225,000 miles) just run in! Note the dry engine! When you are 48km from anybody else you want to get home in one piece.

I know two lads that have owned the tdv8`s, one sold his to buy a new one and is now looking at getting rid of it to find another v8. He reckons that his old V8 was a much better vehicle, the other guy that has one will never part with it , nobody could give a vehicle as much stick as this guy does and its held together well. Its always got an overweight trailer behind it towing at excessive speeds . they really are a stonking motor.

Well said.... it took only the second post for the thread to go off topic.... If you've got something to say about an off topic subject then start a thread...

 

And like others have said the OP wants a little refinement, kudos, etc.... never to had from a plastic Japanese truck....

Looking round the net , and reading these posts , I have a hankering g for the TDV8 Range Rover.

Whilest still from the Land Rover stable , it appears to be fairly reliable , classy inside and very good at towing.

If driving a Landrover makes you that stressed and up tight I definately sticking to the landcrusiers. Bad day at the office ?
