Yes Rupe, chips all back into the hedge, it was about 8' wide so loads of room for a scattering of chips.

Gloria is either perfect for a job or not!

No inbetween imo!

The laurel was perfect, 3" max diameter and straight.

Bang on Stevie, personally I think these little chippers are an essential tool these days. If I started out again I would buy one before a tow behind. It raises revenue faster, gets around the trailer licence for the younger drivers, gets your business up and running.

I totally agree with that.

We now run a quadchip thanks to the money generated by a CS100 which I sold for £620 less than I paid for it after 230hours use.

I couldn't face going back to using one full time though, it would certainly kill me with the effort!

That's an impressive machine. Not heard of it. Is it a jeu bau copy?

I think there is a relation between those machines. Not a good one though. A run away engineer designed a new one fixing a couple of annoying features.

Because the engine sits under the feeder there's no chips falling on the engine, you can place the machine closer to the trailer and the complete machine is shorter thus fitting nicely in the back of my double cabin van.
