Would she work at an angle, popping a wheelie so to speak?, to lower the height of the infeed hopper.

OR!!! you could put the hopper horizontal and add some kind of feeding mecanisam...........................maybe some steel sort of roller type things to pull the bash in....................

what you think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good idea????:thumbup1:

Or am I being stupid????:blushing:

i feel this little thread is dying off, but i have got what i wanted out of it, it has been a long journey but gloria and i are happy now, so here she is in all her glory getting into all those tight places that i hoped she would do. this job used to be a nightmare drag, i managed to get gloria right in behind the hedge and chip everything at the base of the trees, we took about 7feet off so it saved a lot of dragging and sweeping up. and we chipped all the hedge cutings too:001_cool:

This thread cant die!! Micro-chippers rule, good to see you've got yours around to where you want it, on tracks and the ultimate in portability and manouverability. I must say, I'd never taken the little Jo-beau seriously at shows when they first came out, but now I've learned their true worth. I havent dragged a twig out since buying it. I chipped through a pile of brash today about 6foot highx20foot long in about 2hrs, into a garden tractor and trailer as thats all that would fit, and the gardener was happily trundling off around the garden putting it on the borders. In the past they have had a skip twice a year blocking the drive for a couuple of weeks at a time, so though they saved no money they had less inconvenience:thumbup1:
