we are super heros and it is against the law not to work unless you have a 3 man squad, all wearing stein gear and footlocking into a 20foot cherry tree.

He he deffo not me/us, tried footlocking once its not my bag baby.

Go on tell us how much you charged then.

£90-120 in my neck of the woods.

the conifers werent in my original quote or the bigonias. so she was delighted. and her dad has got a pile of firewood. it was a 1 minute walk from my house, i started at 11 ish, went home for lunch and did some arbing for 30 mins then finished for about 4 pm. no worries. if i could of chipped closer to the tree i would of done her in about an hour, but i decided to just cut and stack, the customer wanted to bring her car in after. i am still using these jobs as experimental methods of doing things. so far so good. with a chipper that size, there is no point beasting it, if the operator is an idiot then it will get jammed up and stall i reckon. i an doing these jobs in a relaxed calm way and really enjoying it. it means i can afford to do them one at a time
