Hi all What's the best way to put the Telegraph posts in the ground JCB OR orger on tractor what's the best way it only cray ground thanks Jon

 

Posts in the ground!? Thought it was going on a skid?

 

Or, you found a different bit of ground?

I've always dug a hole, inserted the post, then backfilled, but then that's always been for DWA fences that extend 2m into the ground. Utility companies use a big auger, but if you don't have a big auger I'stick with the JCB and hole method.

Augers only really work on a digger so you can push them down with the arm, unless the grounds fairly soft the ones on tractor arms will just sit spinning and not dig in.
