trousers

Having frightened the shxte out of myself with youtube clips on what saw's do when things go wrong .

I need to invest in a pair of trousers. I will be using them for ground work only (firewood cutting). There seems to be a large variation in price and like anything you usually get what you pay for.

I want these trousers for protection as opposed to having the flash manufacturers logo down the sides and don't mind spending a little bit more if its really worth it. Looking forward to your opinions . Thanks

I like the SIP an Pfanner trousers, but to be fair... If I wasn't using a chainsaw a lot I would go for the cheapest chainsawtrousers with class A or C. More expensive doesn't mean they are more safe, mostly they are just more comfortable.

Very true your not paying for a flashy name , it's durability and comfort I sure notice the difference in between the 100 quid trouser I use for really sticky pine and working in pfanner arborists or sips

I've got a pair of these, and they are very comfortable.

Csnt comment on all of the pfanners but the stretch airs are just too heavy and hot compared to what they used to be. I know 24m/s is more protection but I felt they were spot on before they changed. Sip freedoms for me now. Yet to try anything stihl but hear mostly good with the occasional bad on how comfortable they are from the boys in work
