All quiet on the kindling front ?

The forum seems very quiet regards kindling over the past year. A few years ago it was buzzing and we could never keep up. We have been ticking over nicely but wondered if the weather has slowed things recently or is their another reason.

Yes I think your right about more machines fuelwood said they have made hundreds. Also I think clean timber was in short supply while the government was paying a subsidy to burn it in power stations. So any nice stuff we had was in high demand. Difficult to know how much to stockpile for the winter. We used to make it to order through the summer but seem to be storing more than ever.

If it is cold I think the whole trade will be caught with trousers down again like in 2010 do you remember the anyone know where I can get some cord ? Threads.

Some of my generator customers think we will have a cold one.

 

I think it will be the same as the other years if it's cold we will sell out if it's not we wont
