When the forst was new it was the muts nuts, but even with the best maintainence it has got worse and worse with one thing after another, to the point now that after an hours use,a gravity fed one would be quicker as it has the grip of a limp wristed estate agent.

So what's causing it? Rollers not closing? hydraulic probs?

We have 2 ST6 chippers and both are showing signs of the axles being bent (excessive wear on inside right tyres), they're only 12 months old! Has anyone else had this problem? Spoke to Vince at Redwood and he said it's down to speed humps but our old timberwolf 150 didn't have any issues after 5 years use.

Should these be replaced under warranty?

Yes, called this morning as promised. I must add that Redwood have been excellent to deal with and I can't fault their service. It's a new design so there are bound to be issues, as long as they are fixed, I'm happy and I still love the Forst's

You don't buy a new machine for it to let you down that's why I got a new arbtrack150 I'd say defernetly a warrenty claim

The firm I used to work for had an arbtrack 150, it was at the dealers every other week

Wait for the new Tw 190 :)

Difference between timberwolf and ever other brand is, for example take a Jensen, after 6-10 years use is normally reconditioned and sold

As an almost new machine, however after 6 years a timberwolf is scrap. After using a 2 x 190's for 3 years i am put of for life,
