I've been running a tw190 for the last 6 years but now I'm starting to run a couple of teams I need a sub 750 chipper. I've read reviews on the chipper but not a lots been put on here for a while. So how are you guys who use or own find the 230 as a chipper? Are there any bad points to put me off? Cheers

The fact nobody's committed on this thread is a good thing! Because if there was negative reviews you'd soon hear them so I guess there aren't any. I've personally only heard good reviews hence the reason we've ordered a 230vtr.

Been using one for months now Rhys and has had zero problems as far as I'm aware, it also consistently surprised me at what it will take. It's a totally different animal to the 150, and I also prefer it to the 190

i had 1, on demo very good,hadnt really been out long enough for mte to get 1, so got another jensen , couple of yrs down the line thing may change

Cheers guys so far, the only negative I have heard is that the pipe to the bearings from the greaser hasn't been long enough on two machines and pulled off when the rollers opened up to take a big log or fork for the first time. A mere teething problem I think.

Only bad thing my mate has to say about his is theres a groaning noise from the bottom roller which is a greaseing issue not getting through, also a crack appearing on the top of the flywheel housing has happened exactly same place on a few of them so theres a stress point there
