I've been fed up with the leaf blower making a bit of a mess with the somewhat random direction of expelled air, so I've found a solution.

 

I figured that bullets go much straighter when fired from a rifled barrel so I fitted an old spring down the tube, it's a sort of wide-profile slinky spring.

 

The air comes out dead straight now and cleaning up is so much better.

I've been in touch with our local steel processor about having some made.

 

Gotta be a good market for these. Watch this space

An Air Blade is the same concept as putting the flat nozzle on the end of your blower.

 

 

...and then charge you 5 x price of other fans 😜

Maybe I chose the wromg day to post this - you should try it before you ridicule a poor old inventive tree man.

At least Spud has not disowned me.
