I,ve just seen a removal truck, with hazards on, on a dual carriageway, no signs or cones.

Again, until they enforce these rules I willn't comply.

I already do above and beyond the call of duty by fitting led beacons, putting out signage and cones

im really not tryng to be funny but i really hope that your above statement works for you and does not end in an accident because with a proabition oreder over you the mortgage wont get paid , your guys may well be able to put out the Tm correctly or as close to it as poss but there are lots of bad drivers and oppertunists , i know of a company that had to pay just over 8k in compo because one leg of a road sign was on the pavement and a pedestrian had a little "trip" the job in question was worth less than £400 .

but i can see where you are coming from Dean :001_smile:

If someone is going to claim they will claim and they will find any fault.

My mate runs an engineers shop employing 30 people. There were that many shop floor claims, his insurance premiums went through the roof.

He just got all the workforce together and said one more claim he is shutting shop, selling up and retiring.

He hasn't had a claim in 3 years.

I thought road signs were supposed to be put partly on the kerb?

But they should be marked with a cone if there is a trip hazzard. I use the inon with removable signs on a seperate tri pod, they have no legs sticking out beyond the actual sign and so far I've only driven over one myself and not had any driven over by road users.

We used to have the tripod ones with the sign already on them but they all got bent then had to be chuckes even though the sign part was ok.
