^^^This. A company I sub to advertied for a pump engineer at the end of January, they were offering a good package, company van, 28 paid holidays, shut down from Xmas to new year(paid) phone, credit card ( if Ya need things go and get them is there attitude) aswel as the the normal bit, ppe, uniform. They only had four applications, none of which were suitable. It's a good thing for me mind, most of the time if I get a slack day or two I can ring them to fill my days. They also keep asking me to go full time but the truth is I don't want to work five days a week.

Nothing wrong with Coventry, that's my hometown!

There must be a shortage because every place I've ever worked at has contacted me within the past year asking for me to either do some sub-contracting or recommend them someone who can!

I'm a freelance climber and I am getting battered with phone calls at the min, plenty of climbers but not many who are actually any good I feel. I'm in Horncastle mate, I have a few days in April left if your struggling. Pm if your interested. But I'm guessing you have been bombarded with plenty by now haha
