There are 2 problems here, firstly we the public make ordinary people just because we find them entertaining into celebrities allowing them to believe they're better then us when in reality all they are doing is their job.

Just as you or I would spend our days cutting trees up they spend theirs in front of a camera, the bottom line for them is like us its a job, they get paid to do what they enjoy only now, because weve made them famous they can no longer behave the way they used to..

Unlike us when we've had a bad day we may shout and swear at our co-workers then sort it out over a pint later, they get pulled up by the press.

Secondly, tthis green and pleasant country of ours has gone PC mad. I don't agree with racism but we need to understand the difference between what is racist and what is friendly banter.

Ok, just look at it from the BBC's view, would you employ a bollshy workman who has had repeated warnings, swung a punch at you and tries to make you look a fool by pushing you to the limit,, i wouldn't, he would be down the road as soon as.

On the other hand we do live in a namby pamby state that is so far removed from the era i grew up in , where been an individual with strong views is deemed a troublemaker, so in that case good luck to him.

I hope they get rid of the egotistic bloated barsteward.

Clarkson is epic.

He has the balls to say what everyone else is thinking.

Actually, axe him, i will have his job. Living the dream.

I like him for that reason. Spade is a spade, tell it like it is.

JC bit like marmite really... Me I'm in the love camp

As for slating R Hammond he's a very good friend sons god farther does a huge amount of charity work for BCH. Air ambulance. M trust Really nice guy.

Look at the way he bounced back from that accident in a jet car that takes true grit and determination

Would I like his life? Of course I would! Although he probably works a lot harder than it would appear. Haters are just jealous imo; complain about anyone with money / has done well / gets away with stuff / has admirers...

Saying that, violence (punching producer Oisin Tymon) is a total no-no.

I see you quoted my comment, have you met him, I have twice outside of his tv roll and I stand by my comment on that basis.

I have worked for several people with far more money than JC, am I jealous no.

I find it interesting watching how this tread and the other one/two play out. People seem to believe they Know someone just because they see them on TV.

I know someone that JC used to work for and he has the same opinion of him as you crawley park.

Personally, I just don't like his 'style' (or lack of it) and his opinions. Not sure I would "die to defend his right to 'free speech'"
