Climbing in the rain is completely unsafe and shouldn't ever be done. And I'm assuming you mean RAIN, not a 'lil passing shower.

 

I agree Butch but over here it rains a lot and if you didn't climb in the rain you wouldn't work much.

as all the above have said get used to re-directs, high anchor point, keeping your line as straight as possible going out on limbs. loads of slings different lengths to wrap around and use as footholds and just take your time.

If we didn't climbing in rain in Scotland we would be only working 6 months of the year.

 

Got a med size sycamore over a conservatory to take down tomorrow..prob going to be pissing it down like usual.

 

Best thing to do is check weather forecast on Sunday and try to plan jobs around forecast.
