Tempurpedic mattress so exepnsive ! I think with the hige cost and with the long guarantee it must be perfect..Foam (whether memory foam, PVC, latex, whatever) is always going to be warmer than springs, since it's a great insulator, compared to a spring mattress which is basically hollow. Some foam mattresses are designed with air channels to improve circulation, which might help. I like cotton Serta http://jonsguide.org/best-serta-mattress-reviews/ good quality and budget IMO

We bought one about 8years ago. It's a genuine Tempur and I think it's about 9" thick. It's absolutely as good now as when we bought it. It was about £1000 at the time

It is by far the comfiest mattress I have ever slept on and is brilliant for my back. We occasionally sleep on an imitation Tempur which is absolute rubbish in comparison.

If you suffer with your back Steve, order yours tomorrow. And some Tempur pillows too.

But get some help to carry it to the bedroom, it's flaming heavy. You could hurt your back....

Ditto. Best buy ever for aching joints

Very comfy indeed, slept like a baby and didn't wake up till 10am this morning!! Shameful I know

Well what is the Ergoflex like after over a years use Steve? I have been contemplating a better mattress as I get the first thing aches when I get up which I shake off but have noticed I don't suffer on a harder bed.

Has it improved the bad back?

I suffered from a bad back for years. It got so bad that I started missing time off work and could do nothing. When working I wore a neoprene support which helped but was restrictive and hot! Our mattress was a bit old at about 14 years and sagging with noisy springs!

So off we go to Glasswells in Bury St Edmunds to look at some beds. We'd had a very comfy night on a 'Hypnos' bed in a Premier Inn so tried a few of those - very comfy! Then I made the mistake of laying on a Tempur Memory Foam. Before long I had turned into 'Goldilocks' and tried them all until I found one that was 'just right'. It was a 27cm thick King Size Tempur Sensation Delux! Reduced form £3199 to a mere £2149!!

It sounds a lot, but they are guaranteed for 15 years and estimated good for at least 20! That works out to less than 20p a night each. When you consider that if you spend 8 hours a day sleeping (I wish!) that equates to a third of your life in bed!

Anyhow, these matresses swallow you up and give support that your back needs to recover. Since buying this, I've not had a single issue with my back. It's like a miracle!:thumbup1:
