Yes you saw right. Surely we dont have the right growing conditions for Leylandii to self seed. What is even more amazing is what it is growing in. Road planings...... Its true it will literally grow anywhere and in any soil ....:lol:

ailanthus is just as able to grow in just about anything. i've heard it's even been found in cracked concrete...

 

Rumour has it that construction workers sacrifice young animals in the hope Ailanthus roots stay clear of structural foundations. :001_cool:
