This is quite unbelievable !! they are also wary that some one will take the wood but not the branches ( must be moved first ) obviously not daft but very unrealistic !! or perhaps some one advised them to do it this way .

I would guess there is 4 or 5 ton there. At say £40 a ton roadside = £200. And u dont have to haul it out rear garden, clear brush and leave neat and tidy. I do love these adds.

If I was local I would offer to clear it for free (I'm very generous:biggrin:) but the branches would be going on a bonfire in their garden!

You might be right there wasp.. No pics of felled tree yet or mess.maybe its still standing pending sale

There are four pictures, one of it standing and the rest of the mess she wants someone to pay to clear up. You might do it as a favour if you needed the wood but £800 and a load of grief is a bit rich.

I reckon somebody should tell the seller to look here, and be educated!

Perhaps if she dropped the price to £100, somebody might consider that reasonable - clearing the garden, for about £200 worth of wood.

I emailed her an offer of £20 a ton ie £80 in total for the wood if she wheelbarrows it to the road. And £200 for her to pay to clear it up. Not heard back yet. (and she can burn the brash herself)

Hahaha hats off to the person who felled it probably wonted to get one over on her and is sat in the pub now pocket full of beer tokens having a giggle.:lol:

But I have seen this b4 where the owners shelled out to have the work done then that try and make there money back selling it all if she manages to sell it for that pricehats off to her.
