Lime tree wood, how does it burn?

As the title...we've got a 100' lime tree to fell & wondered how it burns, once split & left for a year or so. Didn't want to store it if its unsuitable but I'm thinking that all wood burns once dry?

Absolutely fine just doesn't leave mega amounts of coals

Not much flame not a huge amount of heat but like any wood seasoned and dry burns fine .

Some of the less durable species (lime, birch, HC, etc) will start to degrade in the log shed after 2yrs, even when down to <20%MC

Interesting. Just about to top up the wood shed and theres some lime to go in too. Fortunately it wont see more than 2 years in the shed.

Yeah, might it be possible to see a picture? You might get a nice bit of timber out of the tree??
