Would be ok if you had a use for the sawdust it produced as the blade takes a good 3/4 of an inch each cut. With the 3000+ ton you would need ti justify that machine you would have a lot of saw dust kicking about.

 

:confused1: Really??? a 3/4inch saw blade???

 

I had a 48inch inserted tooth saw blade, the teeth were 1/4inch wide and the same teeth were used in 60inch blades.

Was it an American machine? When I wentt for the tajfun I was going to get a demo. There was 3 of us two had demos and both gave those estimates to what it takes out each cut. I'm in no way knocking them as there built like brick out houses but the amount of saw dust and the distance log drops into splitting champer were both problems that could not be over come.

 

 

It's a monster for sure with a monster price tag
